White We all are celebrating the festival of Chhat

White We all are celebrating the festival of Chhath. The festival that has been going on for four days will end soon...
Honestly telling you, I have come from such a region and also from such a family where celebrating the festival of Chhath is not a common practice...
I have never seen the festival and earlier not even able to understand its glory. I consider myself lucky to have got my education, be it my school or University from such a place, where many of my friends and their families celebrate this festival. I heard them( My friends )talking about it and since then I have always wondered how a festival can be so important for someone...
Once a friend of mine said that I can skip exams but not chhath. It felt very strange to me that day but as I am growing up I am understanding the importance of the festival and love enjoying chhath puja songs and getting lost in it.. I think that's the glory of India and all its festivals because borders can't divide hearts....
Now I can understand why it is not only called 'Parv' but a 'Mahaparv' ...
Looking forward to witness it directly once in life..
I wish Happy Chhath to all my Bihari friends as well as to all the people who are celebrating out there...❤️
                                                                 Warm Regards
                                                                        Jyoti
