I've been too busy thinking, Wondering how I'd be living Days down the line How would it ever be fine? Will the sun set the way it did Just the other night? Shades of golden dancing Over the tranquil waves Of the sea we put between What could've been our love? Reading theologies Of war and peace And like and dislike... Who took our sanity And put it up a mountain? But then I realize, There's no point thinking, People keep on living Even when we keep grieving Time might stand still for us But the world doesn't stop. So, I know, the world will be fine, And my memory will find Some peace, down the line. Have you been thinking?
