Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, eminent poet and literary critic for his beautiful critical appreciation of my poem 'A LOOK AT LIFE-5'.Thank you very much sir for your wondrful words Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-5" is a poem of magnificent nature because it brings forth the ideals we need to practise in this world of manifold realities happening one after the other. The poem commences with the individual in the poem wanting to have wings with which he/she can fly into the past which is filled with basketful of good memories afterall as long as this individual is concerned. We all have eyes but do we see what we must see in our lives such as the beautiful aspects of life, the eyes we have we must use to observe the attractiveness of this world, the innocent smiles of the children, the bewitchingly beautiful face of a girl and the stunning sceneries all around. There is a tinge of regret in the words of the individual at the final stage, that he/she must be given the heart to love and care for others which sadly didn't happen in the past. It remains as a festering wound in the mind of the individual in question in the poem.In the end, the individual earns for a mind that doesn't have any ill will towards anybody instead it is an impartial and impartisan humane tissue altogether. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of magnificent nature. Written by Cijo Joseph Chennelil.
