A couple of hours back only I saw this man lying on a bed with both his legs plastered, in the hospital just across the road. There were many cars and trucks speeding up and down. I tried to reach and save him. But I couldn't cross even one lane. So many vehicles were whizzing past me. I didn't know what to do. No one seemed to care about him. I requested the hospital security to try and control the traffic so that I could pull him out. But they just stared at me blankly. I ran to the hospital to take help. I was shocked to see the same man being brought through the corridor on a stretcher. I overheard the Doctor telling the attendants and the police "Nobody has come for him till now. Keep his body in the mortuary and see whether some one comes searching". He sounded very cold. I could not believe my eyes. Then who was on the road!? I ran back to the road. I froze.
