I saw a sedulous women ,who is a slum dweller, Seldomly she smiles, She perch where two unsophisticated walls meet, With the dripping roofs & an impoverished family . Her skin looks fragile, With firmness twinkling in her eyes, Her lips are sewed together , With a thread of plights. Every 'citified eyes' sees her like a nasty ,foul -mouthed old evil bitch, For me she is a warrior, of her stinky land. Fighting her own battles , With a sword of unflagging enthusiasm in one hand, And a gun with bullets of sacrifice in another. By Niti~ This poem is dedicated to the lady who is a housemaid. she is very strong who works day and night for the survival of her family. She despite of being a housemaid do many different kinds of work to earn money. Her husband is a fruit seller and there are the time when he is left with no job every year , but this lady never gave up and doesn't loose hope . Despite from suffering she never asked for help. She never cursed her situations but she accepted and work hard to change it. Though she smiles a little and is an introvert kind of person but she is happy and satisfied with her life. Because of her hard work she is able to educate her children in small gov.school and is able to meet their basic needs. She had struggled a lot for her own existence ignoring what other says about her and is still struggling. She is really a warrior. 😊 Hatts off to her.😊 Wo sirf ek hi cheej bolti hai~ 'Janam kab lena hai aur kab marna hai ye hum decide nhi kar skte hai par kaise jeena hai woo hum decide kar sakte hai'. #slum #housemaid#warrior
