ALONE IN THE CITY She screamed at bus conductor asking to stop the bus on her stop. She desperately wanted to make a seen but she didn't had time for silly fights. She got off the bus a little away from her stop and dragged her luggage with her. She looked around for an auto on deserted road of a small tehsil of not so well known district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The moonlight was guiding her towords railway station as streetlights have given up their ability to light-up the town. It took her 15 minutes walk to reach railway station. Her father has taught her to always get tickets before boarding the train so, she did as taught. The railway app informed that the train is at 8:10 P.M that means she still got 12 minutes to board the train. Finally, she took a seat on bench at platform and looked at her phone it showed 4% battery but she was calm as she will be home in just two hours. Suddenly the railway station buzzed with voice of headmaster her train was running late by 3 hours. At that very moment she knew she is going to remember this day for rest of her life her phone was about to die for the first time she noticed the railway station with just two platform, few dim lights, one headmaster and 3 passengers all male looking at her wondering what a young girl like her doing at this place alone at this hour. She was terrified at heart but calm on outside. She made a last call with the mobile on death bed to her father. Her father was always afraid of how fearless she was always, he also knew that she might be fearless but not careless. She looked at the guy walking towards her and told her father 3 things without taking a break: My train is late. I have 2% battery. I am going to bus stand. And the phone died. The guy sat next to her, she grabbed the bag and moved to exit as casually as she could.
