Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem "I DON'T WRITE". Thank you so much sir for your wonderful words of appreciation. Smrutiji, Your poem titled"I Don't Write"obviously states the circumstances in which verses are formed, moulded and shaped in the minds of the bards around the world. The situations in which verses gush out from the minds of poets in thick and fast are(1)When there is joy at heart(2)when the soul is in a blissful condition(3)when love is in the air(4)when the mind is saddened to the core(5)when love gives pangs and pains(6)when the tragedy occures(7)when unhappiness enters into the heart(8)when confidence is at a low ebb(9)when life is turned into hopelessness(10)when the society plunges into a state of injustice and inequality(11)when suppression is rampant in a social landscape(12)when human minds are filled with negative feelings such as hatred, complexes, egos, immorality, deceit, betrayal and back stabbing mentality(13)when the traits of freedom, justice and fair-play are undermined(14)when relationships become burdens and labilities(15)when women and girls are oppressed and compressed(16)when uncertainities, inconsistencies, ambiguities and incompatibilities of life weigh down the individuals(17)when normal patterns of life come under attack and strain(18)when human beings encounter existential crisis(19)when life goes on a tailspin and(20)when alienation, isolation and loneliness are felt in one's own life. These are the conducive conditions in which verses have their origin, growth, development and flourishment.Kudos to you for composing such a remarkable poem on the atmospherics leading upto the composition of a poem. SOMETHING I LOOK AT-105 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY I DON'T WRITE when the soul smiles and heart dances in joy when the mind and body drenched in love tends to fly lines dance before the mind's eye and verses descend from the sky when the whole being bleeds in love and eyes moist with tears when your love leaves you alone and you live in an ocean of sorrow when your sole motivation to live never remains never remains the desire to see one more tomorrow verses descend as your lone saviour and tell you to move on when injustice becomes the go living becomes the prerogative of the mighty exploitation of man by man the unwritten law where remains no ethics and morality where parade ego, hatred and jealousy when virtue and values assassinated in the broad daylight when ideology prostitutes to justify naked self-interest and social injustice when freedom denied and economic equality becomes a myth when blood never recognises blood and relationship becomes an unnecessary burden when conscience cries in vain to remain alive when women are not honoured and manhood in jeopardy verses descend as the voice of the humanity when life becomes a tragedy the earth below and sky overhead start moving no motivation to live a life remains when lost love and buried past come alive when the present becomes too much to bear and future looks foggy and uncertain when you don't remain yourself when reality mocks and you live in an alien world verses descend and tell you "still there is hope and light and enough in you to give a fight i have come to make your wounds my own to put an end to your agony, apathy and alienation and let you live with love and passion" Smruti Ranjan Mohanty© All Copyrights Reserved 23.11.2018 ©Smruti Ranjan mohanty #DilKiAwaaz Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem "I DON'T WRITE".
