She and I, shared our time together like the two halves of an hourglass. Our only chance at equilibrium was when one's empty and the other's full. That day was her turn to be the fuller half. And once full, she left. Time froze. As she left, my life broke into halves, turned upside down. I was my hourglass now. And time moved on. So did I.
