Theme: Natural Disaster As if the ongoing pandemic wasn't enough, the strogest ever cyclone over Bay of Bengal, Amphan, has wreaked havoc across West Bengal, Odisha and Bangladesh. The visuals of collapsing airport hangars, uprooted trees, submerged streets, broken homes, displaced people have rattled our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers with all those affected. Especially with those who had no homes to take shelter. Amphan came at a speed of 270 km/hr and made a landfall at over 180 km/hr. Had it not been for the mangroves of Sunderbans, the damage could have been more devastating. This highlights, once again, how we can thrive only if nature around us thrives.
