Now that even the last penny in the house was spent, Ramu finally stepped outside the house with a 100-rupee note, the last note of his savings in order to arrange for some milk for his little daughter of 3 months. Her mother was a nurse and worked in a small hospital, the same place from where she got the virus. She was infected with Corona since a week and with great difficulty was Ramu able to feed the innocent soul, though he being hungry.

He knocked every door in the neighbourhood for some milk but nobody even opened the door as he was considered 'untouchable'. But Ramu never wished to get something for free and that is why he brought the 100-rupee note with him ( the last note). Though the survival in future seemed misty to him yet he decided to feed his little angel at least today. After banging several doors and shouting, he finally came across a restaurant where only he saw two men through the window. He guessed that they may be the managers and they must be having some milk in the name of God. He knocked the gate, one of the man came outside and asked his business. He pleaded him earnestly that his 3-month-old daughter is hungry and her mother is in the hospital, infected with virus. The manager agreed but asked for ₹250 for 1kg milk. Ramu explained that he has only ₹100 but he'll surely pay the money veey soon. The manager sent him away and he again wandered around when he came across a tea-stall where some policemen were having tea.

He was delighted but a bit scared because he was roaming around in the lockdown. He fearfully came near them and told his problem. First, the policemen thought that he telling lies but then his sad tears couldn't be controlled and he said that he'll pay the money too, though hesitantly.
