White Garden In my walled garden of many faces Lies a secret oasis Trees bearing shiny fruits Roots entrenched in deep stasis My garden is famed , onlookers are always amazed A place that they dream of Assuming, that heaven is my base Nobody has tasted those fruits And yet many believe Its sweetness can be matched by a few Call it madness or reality of the time we live in If it looks good then it will be good Such is the irrational notion Among people who have no clue! Yes the Garden is leafy , picturesque to say the least I don’t know why the enamour keeps increasing When no one has even had an inside peek Had they seen what's inside , Their perfection seeking eyes Couldn’t have been able to handle Those real muddy trenches Within which these trees reside! Everyone wants perfection, Beauty and brawn It doesn’t matter if the inside is rotten As long as the photographs Are revered among all If only eyes could feed A lot of our efforts would have been saved Reality is often messy, dirty Maybe bland for someone's taste Illusions may last a distance Real things last forever Whether its to bite Or to savour Is hidden in our morals and ways. ©Venkatesh Agarwal #Novembercreator #Poetry #Nojoto #MyPoetry #write #instawriters #poem #LateNight #latest #Trending love poetry in english poetry lovers poetry in english sad poetry poetry quotes
