Economics reflects on the conflicts between desire

Economics reflects on the conflicts between desires and wants while philosophy addresses it poignantly. The law of demand is based on a conflictual relationship that a person has with himself/herself. And the answer remains the same: his/her mindset. The primary concern of ours should be to know ourselves first before judging anything. The purest form of knowledge and understanding resides within us only if we are out of the circus that the world facilitates. We can just meditate and avoid aversions that multiply our desires. If we can control our desires to spend lavishly on things that we don't desire then we shall create wealth that we need.
