Amidst the clangor of swords and guns, The earth shudders and the sky succumbs, To the violence of humanity's rage, As war rages on with a fiery blaze. Men and women, young and old, All swept up in the story told, Of honor, glory, and righteous might, As they march forth into the night. But amidst the bloodshed and despair, There lingers a hope, a prayer, That one day, the drums of war will cease, And the world will finally know peace. For peace is not just the absence of war, But a state of being, a way to soar, Above the petty conflicts of man, And to live together in harmony's plan.
