।। ओ३म् ।। कालः स्वभावो नियतिर्यदृच्छा भूतानि योनिः पुरुष इति चिन्त्या। संयोग एषां न त्वात्मभावादात्माप्यनीशः सुखदुःखहेतोः॥ काल, प्रकृति, नियति, यदृच्छा, जड़-पदार्थ, प्राणी इनमें से कोई या इनका संयोग भी कारण नहीं हो सकता क्योंकि इनका भी अपना जन्म होता है, अपनी पहचान है और अपना अस्तित्व है। जीवात्मा भी कारण नहीं हो सकता, क्योंकि वह भी सुख-दुःख से मुक्त नहीं है। Time, nature, law, chance, matter, the living self - none of these surely is the cause; nor even the combination of these is the cause because of their own birth, identity and the existence of the self.
