I had a busy day. I got into a fig

I had a busy day. I got into a fight with my arrogant boss. I finally opened up to him about the tension regarding the amount of work he's given me. He expects more than enough work from a second-year graduate intern.
Well, I am not fired, all thanks to my friendly colleague, Anna. She knows my babbling mouth more than me. She always backs me up. She is a nice friend, she always says 'one day we will kick this job out of our life but now isn't the right time.'
Usually on this day I avoid spending lonesome hours. I try to swamp myself with works, actually a lot of works in order to keep myself away from, well myself. Otherwise, the day brings a lot of emotions only to carry me back to the day which I fear the most to face. My mind loses the focus and shifts to that one moment where I find only mistakes and regrets. At that point then it becomes difficult to hold myself up and bring myself back to rest. So, I try to keep my mind occupied until I return to home where my serenity awaits.

But today it wasn't like any other day. I am not exhausted or tired. It was a light feeling after confronting my boss. I drive back home as soon as I get off from my work.

As I enter into the house, I overhear sobbing and sniveling. I make my presence by taping my shoes "dad! I am home."
