Promises are morally binding commitments to do or not to do something with an assurance to the other that it won't be broken. I rarely if ever make promises for I believe that my saying itself should be accepted as a commitment as I hardly ever am untrue or say things which I mean not. Then too at times to make myself believable ( with a heavy heart that I had to convince other about my truthfulness) I do promise. But the one I made and broke will be remembered more. A promise to myself never to tattle about others that I partially broke with another friend with this assurance in my mind that it won't be misused. I hope my faith is not misplaced. Welcome to the Day 16 of #MeMoWriMo or the Memoir Writing Month. i.e. September. Collab and talk about the #lastpromise you broke in today's #remembertowrite challenge. #YourQuoteAndMine Collaborating with YourQuote Baba
