Just as the rain seeks the soil after a scorching summer,
Hurrying down from the clouds to make them lighter,
My puddles of pain too will grow,
Either in intensity or in number, I know.

Slides down,
Once, twice, thrice and again and again,
From the window pane.
Every small stream,
As it rushes down,
