White The Honest Woodcutter

Once, a poor woodcutter accidentally dropped his axe into a river. As he sat by the water, a goddess appeared and offered him a golden axe. He refused, saying it wasn’t his. Then, she offered him a silver axe, but again, he refused. Finally, she presented his old iron axe, and he accepted it happily. Impressed by his honesty, the goddess gave him all three axes.

Moral: Honesty is always rewarded.
