।। ओ३म् ।। अधरा हनुः पूर्वरूपम्‌।उत्तरा हनुरुत्तररूपम्‌। वाक् सन्धिः। जिह्वा सन्धानम्‌। इत्यध्यात्मम्।  अधर हनु (ऊपरी जबड़ा) पूर्व-रूप है; उत्तर हनु (नीचे का जबड़ा) उत्तर-रूप है; वाक् है सन्धि; जिह्वा है संयोजक (सन्धान)। इतना ही है अध्यात्मम्। The upper jaw is the first form; the lower jaw is the latter form; speech is the linking; the tongue is the joint of the linking.
