One strange thing about life is that today it's very friendly, smiling, and supportive. But tomorrow it will push me to a corner, holding my collar, and ask me, "Who are you?"

White You texted me in the middle of the night at around 2.30 am, but your message lacked the necessary content for a late night. It simply stated, "Good morning, my dear!" And when I asked you, Why disturb my ?" You answered, "I couldn't , so I thought, Why should you that comfortably?"

Now, when I need you the most, you keep ignoring me. Why don't you come to disturb me? Without your text messages, my nights feel empty and seem to drag on forever. Without speaking to you, my has also started keeping a distance. Speak up, my dear friend. Why are you silent now? I know because you are lying comfortably, and no one can ever disturb you, surrounded by beautiful flowers, with your eyes closed, on your way to heaven. Do you believe I will find peace without you, my dear friend?

Your late-night text wasn't just a text; it was one of the most gifted moments God has given me. Precious moments indeed keep fleeting, but times spent with you continue to linger in my memories!

The Mountain had a Story to Tell

Holding Mr. Ravi Kumar's finger, little Sruthi expressed her desire to climb the mountain. Ravi Kumar loved to climb but didn't want to risk harming his little granddaughter. He looked at her and said, "My dear, you are too small to climb, and I'm too old." "Yes, I know, Grandpa, but we both have a strong mind, and that's enough, isn't it, Grandpa?" little Sruthi asked her grandfather. Ravi Kumar observed the confidence in her face and then turned his gaze to the mountain, which responded with a smile. He thought, "Such confidence
at such a young age will take her places."
Little Sruthi, already filled with excitement, was ecstatic as they reached the top of the mountain. She looked at her grandpa and said, "Yes, I was confident, but holding your hands gave me an assurance of safety." Tears came out of Ravi Kumar's eyes, and he hugged her. After spending some time on the mountain, they began to climb down. As they came down, little Shruthi turned back and saw the mountain smiling at her. She continued to hold Ravi Kumar's finger and hopped down the hill.
Years later, Shruti is back in the same place with her son. The mountain smiled at her, and she climbed with her son. Shruti walked down the memory lanes and felt like someone holding her fingers. It wasn't her son who was sitting down on the grass. A cool breeze began to blow, and she once again felt someone holding her finger and standing beside her. Shruti turned back, looked at the mountains, wiped her tears, and said,"Oh, my dear grandpa!" She felt nostalgic.
Before continuing down the hill with her son, she once again looked at the mountain. The mountain smiled at her!

White Whenever people talk about life being unpredictable, they always highlight the negative aspects that may occur any time, anywhere, and in any way. Indeed, it's undoubtedly true that life is unpredictable, but that doesn't always imply anything unpleasant is going to happen. Unpredictable means even beneficial things can also happen any time, anywhere, and any way. Strive for positivity, as we must create beauty in life; it doesn't emerge naturally. Only then does life become beautiful!

Dear Autocorrect,

Sometimes, I feel enough is enough. I'm the one who decides the words for my write-up, not you. Even after I've typed the correct word, you interrupt and insert your own word, which I often overlook because I had already typed the correct spelling. After finishing your spoilsport job, you disappear, leaving me frustrated and embarrassed because the word you replaced has entirely changed the meaning of the sentence.

Once, you interrupted my WhatsApp conversation with my friend Sandhya and made me uncomfortable. I had typed Sandhya correctly, but you changed it to 'Sandbag'!!! And the word Sandbag continued for the rest of our conversation. Can you imagine the embarrassment that's waiting for me? It would have been acceptable if I had been in a one-to-one conversation with her on her personal WhatsApp. However, this was a group of alumni! Neither she nor I spotted the mistake; another group member spotted it! Now imagine the amount of leg pulling I had to face in the group!

There's no doubt in your ability to autocorrect, but there is a limit, my dear. At least leave the word as it is, which, when spelt correctly!

 Time

The rains walked just in, like
a pendulum's strike
that once again reminds me
life's on a running spree.

Still, I yearn for tomorrow
in a distance with joy or sorrow
all along, it's been waiting for me
which I'm unsure of as I can't see.

A beautiful day is right here
filled with my people, so dear
whose love and care I can't ignore
ready for me, always in store.

Time is moving so fast somehow
in  July, we are already now
whatever my life goals are
from my loved ones, I can't be far.

Recap

During my school days in Kozhikode (Kerala), I used to keep thinking about the activities and incidents that happened in
school every day as I walked back home. As a result, I tend to ignore many things that are happening around me. But I hardly knew; ignorance may be a cost to pay. One day, upon returning from school, a cockroach distracted me at home, leading me to thrash it using my slipper before disposing of it in a dustbin.

Uff, these cockroaches! CHAPTER 2

I felt something flying around me again. Ouch, it was a cockroach. SWAT! That was the end of it, and I relocated it to its designated spot—the waste bin. That night, I also sensed the presence of flying cockroaches. A wooden packing box on the wall's side was the source of the sound. My mind was busy with the next day's activity at school, and slowly, took over.
Days passed into the week. Each night, I could still hear cockroaches fluttering around the box. Each night, my mind was occupied with the intricacies of school activities, leaving no time for these cockroaches. Cockroaches lurked around the wooden box, frequently interrupting my concentration as the examination approached. Unable to withstand any more irritating
disturbances, I decided to clean the box and eliminate all cockroaches. As I opened the box, I nearly jumped out of my
skin. Yes, cockroaches flew past me, and there were dead
ones, too. However, I could not speak; I needed to call my
father and yell loudly. I found it difficult to breathe as I
gasped for air...

Uff, these cockroaches! CHAPTER 1

Sometimes, childhood is least concerned about the happenings around us, whereas the innocent mind is always busy calculating the divisions and additions of friendship. Could ignorance have a cost?
Returning from school, I used to get off at the Nallalam Bazar bus stop in Kozhikode (Kerala) and walk nearly a kilometer to my house, which was an apartment on the ground floor of the Telecom Staff quarters.
With my hands either in my pockets or holding the straps of my school bag (which rests over my shoulder), I used to walk towards my house. Occasionally, I would kick a stone or an empty can to make my way home while my mind replayed the events from earlier in the school. As I arrived home, I would glance at all the cans or stones lying beneath the veranda. Some of them would be missing. The workers who clean the area might have removed most of the cans.
After getting refreshed, I used to take a little nap before my evening studies. I preferred to on the floor, leaving the cot aside. It cools me. We had a volleyball match that day at school, and I was engrossed in it.
Just then, I felt something flying over me. Since my mind was flying along with the volleyball, I ignored it. But before I could
close my eyes, I felt something flying around me again. Ouch, it was a cockroach. SWAT! That was the end of it, and I relocated it to its designated spot—the waste bin.

A long wait

It's been long, more than a year
John left, promising to return soon
his words echoing, loud and clear
Anne waits, morning, night and noon,

A faint knock is heard on the door
opening the door, she meets a stranger
who drops a leather pouch on the floor
it was John's who worked as a ranger,

Anne's teardrops fell like rain all over
when he said, John fell off from a hill
John sent a letter in his pouch for her
the stranger left, Anne's cry grew shrill,

I shall get well, to be with you on and on
in your arms always stays, rest of my life
John wrote, as Anne's long wait went on
counting days and nights, his dear wife.
