As evening settles soft and low, The sky, a canvas starts to show, Its palette rich with twilight's hue, A blend of purple, gold, and blue. The sun dips low, a fleeting glance, The day surrenders to night's dance, With shadows deep and whispers mild, The sky transforms, serene and wild. Stars emerge, a glistening seam, In dusk’s embrace, a twilight dream, The world below begins to fade, As night ascends, in starlight draped. The evening’s breath, a gentle sigh, Beneath the vast, expanding sky, In this transition, peace is found, As dusk and night both come around. As evening's curtain starts to fall, The sky receives a gentle call, From twilight’s brush, both soft and grand, A muted hue spreads o’er the land. The sun’s last kiss is faint and warm, A fleeting touch before the storm Of night invades with velvet grace, And shadows stretch, embrace the space. Clouds, like whispers, drift on high, In shades of rose and deepened sigh, The horizon blurs in dusky tones, Where day’s last light and starlight blend. The stars ignite, a scattered lace, That shimmers in the evening's face, The world below in quiet rests, As night unfolds its silken vest.
