Unsplash What once was , is no more In just a few days it will be Christmas But it doesn't seem right without you Seeing you on the morning of presents Not having you here is something new Dinner is so tiring and inanimate now Yes there's turkey and stuffing and pie But if you're not here then it's bland I know I'm supposed to feel happy , but why? All the Christmas specials on television Remind me of days when we'd watch together Having you around made it more joyous But since you're not here then it's just - whatever!! White No matter how open, peaceful, or loving you are, others can only connect with you at the depth they’ve reached within themselves. Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.
