Nothing you do is out of my sight
Silently, I wait to give you a fright

I am your shadow, I am your disease
Nothing you do is out of my sight
I will not leave, until day turns to night

I see every move, I see every reaction

When I surprise, you will take flight

When you wake, and where you go
When you look, I will always know

In the quiet of the night, when shadows blend, A lone heart wanders, seeking a friend. Dark thoughts whisper through a veil of gloom, Casting long echoes in a dim-lit room. A restless soul, wrapped in midnight’s shroud, Sits beneath a sky of silent clouds. Each breath a struggle, each heartbeat a fight, Against the unseen fears that haunt the night. Memories dance like phantoms on the wall, Their icy fingers reach out to enthrall. Regret and sorrow in a twisted embrace, Painting despair on a once hopeful face. Yet in this darkness, a faint spark remains, A glimmer of light in the midst of the chains. For even the night, with its deepest woe, Holds the promise of dawn's gentle glow. So as shadows linger and sorrows entwine, Hold fast to the hope that tomorrow will shine. In the silence of night, let your spirit unchain, For dawn will break, and heal the heart's pain.
