Shadow I love nights rather than Day-light, Like I love my boneless Shadow rather than that Heavy suffocated skin At night my bones wear skin Of moon and wrinkled wounds get straightened by that dark Ironic shade of window's ralling Not only for that but, This night engulfs my shadow In one stroke by tongueless Mouth of bold pigmented sky Without a stream of blood in My city I lost her for erstwhile Under sunlight she gets rebirth When I walk on that margin Of road's page and she just Falls down from my shoulder wheels of wild grip cut her With irregular and sudden jerks And murderer comes across Her identity in limelight so With every sun she walks with Walking death and its better To die in one blunt stroke rather Than thousands keen jerks I feel her pain so I love nights Rather than day-light ! ©jeelpatel #shadow #poetry
