Off

Like a train gone off it's track
I'm out of control without you
My brain has gone all whack
I'm so sad it makes me blue

Like a bomb went off now I'm dead
Scattered debris is all that remains
Like a glacier has melted in my head
Drowning in thoughts make me insane

Like a tornado ripped through my heart
Nothing left but pieces strewn about
Like an earthquake crumbled my love apart
All I do now it seems is cry and pout

Like a peasant to the queen, I served you
My will had only catered to your needs
Like a pair of doves , my love has been true
My destiny ? You are where I hope it leads

When I hear your voice
Soft music is what I sense
Calm songs , relaxing and beautiful
So subtle but incredibly intense

When I see you close
My body goes numb and still
A soothing feeling that is great
You send vibes and I get a chill

When I close my eyes
In my head I see pictures of you
A dynamic photo of your Beauty
The only image I want to view

Pressure building with thoughts of you
My brain will blow at any minute now
Head was scrambled when I caught a view
The only question is to ask , but how?

Hairline fractures in my skull it seems
Thinking of you creates heat within
Breaking apart and bursting out steam

Autumn leaves
Assorted shades of colour
Red , yellow and orange
Some green in the mixture

Autumn weather
Cold , bitter nights arrive
Frost in the mornings
Warm cozy coats come alive

Autumn activities
Halloween and Thanksgiving
Turkey , stuffing and ham
Pumpkin pie they'll be serving

Autumn indicates
Snow will be coming very soon
Christmas and new years
Anticipation for the next June

October 29th 2024

It's now just past six am
A dog is barking quite proud
Music is playing on my phone
Too early to have it loud

Cars are moving on past
Traveling to their destinations
Some stop at the coffee shop
Mornings start with caffeination

There's a skunk wandering
A couple people have seen it
Probably just looking for food
If it comes I will give it a bit

The rain is falling now a little
Not long ago it was very hard
Splashing and dripping away
Puddles now all over the yard

It seems time has ended

The years passing by
Seem to have no end
The dreams I've had
Are of you
Still being my best friend

The months drag on
They seem to never stop
One after another
At this point
I'm feeling the opposite of on top

The weeks pile up
I stopped counting now
Seven days each
Without you
How, I really don't know

The days are growing
Three-hundred sixty-five
Each seem frozen
If you were here
Time would melt and thrive

The hours, terrible
The time slow like a worm
That seem asleep
With your assistance
Time would wake I'm sure

Minutes not moving
The hands pointing down
Like it has died
Just say yes
And the clock will turn around

Seconds are not bad
Because one day I know
At any moment you
May come back
And time will return to its normal flow

The end of eternity

Suddenly the sky turned dark black
The ground shook and rumbled
Thunder boomed, lightning cracked
Everything seemed to be muffled

Boulders fell from atop mountains
Avalanches were racing down
Volcanos erupted like fountains
Earthquakes began all around

Oceans stirred and began to rise
Waves rose beyond seventy feet
The sun explodes, light from the sky
Reaching down, burning with heat

Forests catch fire and spread wide
Smoke fills the air, and nature chokes
There is absolutely no place to hide
This will not even spare the good folks

Time seems to have ended instantly
Life in a flash has been totally erased
Natural disasters occurred viciously
The end of eternity, left only a waste

You're a sight to behold
You never have to be told
