Dr Rupali Vishwas

I remember,

I remember my big smile wrapped
Around my deep anxiety,
The risk of each step coming towards
You but I cared your suffering.

I remember my suffocation
Each sensation of my perspiration,
Inside that Personal Protective kit,
I wish I could protect my own sorrow.

I remember, A young Doctor in me
Passed through phases of darkness
to be worthy enough to
illuminate your dark times.
While asking your bodily pain,
Inside that plastic sheath,
I was menstruating like rain.

I remember your dysphoric affect
But somewhere this pandemic caused
My breathless breath,
cloudy eyes and
Blurred Foggy shield
I was hiding my crying uterus,
My little heavy steps And
the pain of digging sword in my back.

I remember the smell
of sweaty air in that mask,
The sound of my own numbness came crashing,
I can still feel my cold wrist and sore feet.

I remember,
Your smile of getting
discharged from the room,
Those words of gratitude,
Even those words of disliked,
I burn trying to give you Empathy
But I myself never had it.

I remember,
The moon grow a little every night, they say
And me too, a growing Doctor !
Each step I take revealed a new horizon,
I never knew how strong I am
until being strong was my only choice.

To my proud soul,
I know, I may not be your first fan but you are my love since long time. You are still Manav from pavitra rishta to me. I know you, as a brilliant engineer having single digit rank in all india entrance exam to the anni from chhicchore. You keep me inspiring throughout your journey, today since last 6 hours; the news of your unexpected death shattered my heart so deeply.People are comparing your reel and real life due to your suicidal act but I trust you, I know Sushant's story is more painful, full of scuffle and inspiring than on screen anni's.It is very difficult for everyone to accept the reality of your life as you are one of the successful bollywood star for them having fans in millions, good looking, had fame and everything one could ask for the best in life but its time to accept that all the materialistic and luxurious comfort can't replace your mental peace, your mental health is priceless. Definitely suicide is never an option for anyone but everyone should know that if you accept suicide over the life then it was your illness who chose it; not you. Its not about being weak or failed in life, its all about story of fighting with your own mind, your biochemical changes in your neurotransmitters system. Everyone may be busy now in the discussion of your cause of depression but it is an illness,,,, for which sometimes cause is not necessary, but I am still so proud of you; my inspiration, in your short life period you earned so much respect and hearts of millions of people. I am so proud of the story of your long standing fight with your own mind, your suffering of every single day and all your sleepless nights, for me you are more than Ishaan in kai poche, Raghu in shudh desi romance, Mahi from MSDhoni, Anni from chhichhore; you are Sushant Singh Rajput, a topper in academics, self made actor, a brilliant superstar and a real life fighter.
 I love you ! RIP❤️
                                           - yours proud fan...

Hey, yes all of you Indians
I am a doctor working here for you people. Today, I know you all are staying at home for your family and community and might be you have clapped for Doctors and paramedical staffs but tell me, "is it enough for our duties and courage". Don't you people think that the respect you all are showing for us on every page of social media we deserve it for every day not only during the pandemic crisis but also as daily routine health care providers! Our studies, our sacrifices and work schedules deserve more than just claps, we want respect, don't treat us as God because we are not God, and we don't even wanted to be but aleast treat us as Humans and show some humanity if the condition of patient is beyond our efforts, dont attack on us and stop violence against Doctor. It is very easy for you guys to say that it is our work and we have to do it ; but think about the kind of work I am doing, is it that easy to have those skills to heal someone's body and mind and to save their lives. Today we are the first line defender to save your life and we are doing our duty proudly but trust me claps are not enough for us, we want respect from all of you even after clearing of these dark clouds of CORONA. Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your mind.
