Yesterday evening, It rained cats and dogs. Without warning, it started; And with no mercy on those it caught outside their homes. Of course, the lights went off And I wrapped myself up in bed. "What a time it is to rain," "Sleep should come soon" I smiled. But no, my sleep fairy denied me; And as I longed for her to come, Sad, forgotten memories came flooding my heart, Just as the waters gushed in the distance. Oh no! I thought I had healed already. But lo, I saw his face again, That teary night... The night he betrayed my trust, The night I painfully gave up on love, The night we became parallel lines. Yesterday evening It rained cats and dogs From the skies, and from my eyes. Tobiloba. The rains!!!

तेरी बात झूठी निकली आखिर कहती थी तू की काले बादल हमेशा बारिश लाते है तेरे जाने के बाद दिल से ये काले बादल हटते ही नही पर आखें अब भी बूंदे बरसाने को नाकाम है पता नही तेरी झूठ से ज्यादा परेशान हूं मैं की अपनी खुदगर्जी देख हैरान है। The rains and the clouds!

The rains here are different. Relentless, yet intermittent. The roads almost disappear, shying away from the downpour. And the people, most of them, indifferent to the downpours. A part of their lifestyle, the daily afternoon showers. Not many umbrellas as you'd imagine, maybe a few raincoats here & there. The Chaiwala however grins at the sight of the first raindrop, the first of many. He knows he's gonna have his fill. His wife gets busy with the pakoda stall, while he makes hot Irani chai, smiling. A swarm gathers around, seeking refuge, sipping hot Irani chai, pakoda sides. The rains here are different. Everyone has their fill. The rains here are different. The roads, they drown. People's guards, let down. The rains here are different. They bring your memory, but never your scent. I like how the petrichor smells of me and not us. The rains here are different. The rains here are indifferent. They shower on all of us alike. #rains #different #chai
