Slowly .. like an afternoon drenched in memories of first love, a slow breeze that catches you vulnerable, moving through, rufffling the down feathers, a slow chill down the spine , mine and his, a sigh on how it was all lost to the wind, to sunlight,expanding horizons and shadows the divine arrives in the new leaves takes shape and shadows dissipates chill and warmth a poet crawls into silence at the contrast of it all Carefully and slowly An the afternoon breeze moves, filling up the mango tree in parts with tremors, In the memory and lack thereof Of full and dry seasons Slowly I learnt to let it all go The birth and death Of all kinds of bodies Of all kinds of inhabiting Of all beginnings and laments, familiar and unfamiliar Slowly i saw it all letting go of me Slowly ...ever so slowly I unlearned to abide her time..her pace at her pace
