When I entered "that mysterious room" I could see her lost smile, like a bloom We looked each other, we're feeling that doom I could exactly listen "the sound of silence" in that room. She wanted to tell me something, she was crying, But couldn't overcome her huge gloom. It was her marriage today, it should have been her best day, But why we were rapidly hearing "some unheard voices" with lot of fume, And then I freezed, I felt something, suddenly my heart spoke to me that.. When I'm tangled In abstractions, Complications, Fake relations, Meaningless situations, Piercing lacerations, I leave it all, And I ponder, Why, oh why, Do I grow fonder Of my solitude, And why, oh why, Do I meander, In spaces and voids, In places devoid Of human-ness? And I rest, In the sound of silence. Do you think, that I never try To decipher this mess? Are you never amazed How my thoughts turn into a maze? How I just sit In the sound of silence.
