The moonlit night seems longer tonight, As she remains elusive and out of sight. I tried hard convincing her to trust me again, She refused citing her helplessness and plight. I tried reasoning with her to such an extent, But She refused to budge and was adamantly outright With all my persuasion I couldn't win her heart, She ignored me completely looking left and right. When I have but none beside Staring stars, hiding scars From the sparkling rays The conspiring gazing eyes Oh may be nostalgic gray pasts Flickering somewhat like I wonder how grewsome it may Look someday when you come back With a rapid wink it may leave The night, finding your smile I wish the slowing Pace to be this consistent at that time Oh night be slower at that time!
