About 12.8% of women and girls worldwide live in poverty, yet menstrual products are taxed and are not considered a basic right. About 36% of Indian women do not have access to sanitary napkins every month, yet period poverty is hardly recognised and understood. Around 40 million children grow stunted, yet basic hygiene continues to be a riddle. It's time to leave behind the stigma of menstrual health, f

Roses Are Red, So Is Blood. Let's Normalize Period Stains, Just Like Mud. I've seen women (including myself) getting ridiculed for being on their period, for talking about the wicked pain they go through every month, for being moody, grumpy, low on energy, inactive and lazy.. And god forbid if they get their clothes stained, it's a shame-party for everyone around. Including the already bone-tired woman. Let us normalize the blood stains and try to HELP HER, in place of mortifying her even more.
