Support my students to learn new skills(both academic and life) and achieve their goals. I would help them with their learning issues and help overcome them. These were my thoughts as a B'ED trainee and I have have been fulfilling them. Worked as volunteer for an NGO school for five years, helped a number of Korean students in the past, software professionals recently. Presently, I am tutoring kids online. Who inculcated discipline and courage in me was my grade 5 class teacher. She used to have lunch with us in the class, taught us to chant Guru Brahma in the morning and Purnamidam... before leaving the school daily. Her encouragement was par excellence. Mrs.PadmPrabhu, KV. Waking up early in the morning and preparing food for the family ( facts of life, whether we like or approve or not ) sending children to school and still be present before the bell rang and spending the day minding the unruly, inconsiderate children and then going back home with bundles of copies and family issues to deal at home is not a job for nothing less than supermen and superwomen which they certainly are.
