Sometimes you just meet someone and click. Like what you’ve been searching for all your life is right in front of you. It feels as if God has answered your prayers and sent them to be with you. But then, sadness prevails when you find out they can’t be there for you always. When you realise they are too good to be a part of your life. You feel as if you don’t deserve such a kind hearted soul. That they deserve someone better than you, who can complete them and not someone so needy like you are. So, you make compromises with your feelings and let them stay put. You do not move an inch forward, towards saying ‘I love you’ and you do not step back from being ‘annoying’. Your mind bombards you with logic, with questions and strangles down to quit. But your heart, your stupid gullible heart, understands no logic. It still yearns to hold on like a naive little kid, finding joy in that moment. You may not be fully content but are happy with that little connection that you have with them. That tiny little space, feels nothing less than love. That is ‘Love’ for you.
