They were childhood friends. Very close. Circumstances parted them as their parents were transferred to different cities.Those were the days with no mobile phones or social media. One just loses track of friends except storing the memories in the heart. One went on to become a big time actor. The other a teacher in the village they had been friends. The teacher would always miss his friend .All the places where they had fun would remind him of his friend. He would wonder if his friend remembered him too now that he had become renowned.The mind always feeds on the negative easily unless we are conscious and aware. He , only had to make a call to reconnect. But, he didn't. Unaware that his friend too was missing him and had no means of contacting him. So , in life we shouldn't assume things. Especially in relationships. Otherwise, we tend to lose something precious for a lifetime. If we miss someone we should just go ahead and tell them.
