I crave for the chaos Of people jostling in crowds Instead of a numbing silence Alike the one around burial shrouds I am so alone that I listen to my alter egos now And realised there are more than one That help me morally grow I yearn for life Moving around me Of trees rustling by, Of birds chirping in glee. Seems ages since I smiled Trying my new dress, Making memories ,while Gobbling up street food in bliss I m so alone that Loneliness seems a friend Maybe time has stopped And the world is dead. Memories unfurl and along with them come the lies which I hold so close to my heart as truth of my life. The best thing I've learnt is that in the end you are the only one for yourself and no one else no matter how dear they're to you or vice versa will stay with you. Learn to be happy with yourself and in your own company. Sometimes it amazes people seeing you alone with a book engrossed in it for hours and not feeling the need to talk to anyone else. Because as we all know, it's solace that we desire, if it comes with someone along then fabulous but if it doesn't then you're your own safe house and you better take care of yourself #mythoughts #solace #solaceinsolitude #originalwriting #lovetowrite #loveyourself
