While the story finished it's tale, there started a gale, a small fairy breeze had picked up the story's trail, angered by the secrets it had sprung on an immature world,grew to mammoth proportions. A fiery gale was now a humongous tornado. Wrecking all it's path, the story's words were ripped apart. A kernel of truth was there, planted in the minds of people. The stuff of fantasy it became. The story struggles at first, gasping for words in a faint voice. Soon strength is regained, and out bursts a tale of stormy high seas, typhoons of love and hate, high waves and incessant tides of truth, lies. Mermaids luring with songs of broken hearts, tears and joys. Shipwrecks of lives,lived, loved and lost. Ghost ships of tormented pasts, still sailing on, their present gone. And of course the cheerful paper boats, carrying on journeys of faith, dwarfed by the mighty seas, but choosing to believe. What happens is to be seen. A Story told. A window etched in the air, Lost in a daydreamer's lair. The ceiling is blank except for lines crawling ravenous for words to fill the dark spaces. Eyes blink, pages fill out of nowhere. Threading words into the air, Far left, far right in all directions, Upon the stars, Inside earth's crust, on a grass carpet, Swishing in the leaves like a frolicking breeze, Falling over a cliff in a waterfall dream, Toddle writing to corners of the earth, rooted in the same spot, On a train to destinations known unknown, Through cities of clouds keeping our wits about. We write to be unseen, words our shield, so no one may know the real being. Yet, we are seen, trusted, judged, believed. A North wind, a north star flung out too far.
