~ On homelessness ~ Not having a home has made my life a box that I pack and unpack to pack again someday. Not having a home has made my mother's plants and my books, a bunch of orphans. It has made my father's scooter a wanderlust where the lust is of a home. Not having a home has made my dreams limited to buy some walls. It has made me drink coffee like an alcoholic so that my eyelids can make me work for some more square foots.

"Zindagi ek safar hai suhana, yahan kal kya ho kisne jana..." I know what will happen tomorrow. My boss will fire me if I don't continue working, doesn't matter if my brain tissues aren't allowing me to work. My father will cook tomorrow as well, doesn't matter if he has caught cold and we can't afford a household help. My mother will carry on lying down on the couch thinking what it would be like if she wouldn't have spondylitis at all. I know my feminist poems won't make me another Rupi Kaur, my insta posts won't make me another Nikita Gill And I can't be my own kind in this life. I know being a potterhead doesn't make magic happen in real, I know so many things that are only bitter and there's nothing sweet except for the sweat and blood of my parents. I know life is anything but a suhana safar. I know what will happen tomorrow. #middleclasswhining

Let's define 'worst phase' first. For me, it's not the time that makes you cry but the time which makes you feel that you would be better if you could just cry, at least a little. Now, at your worst phase, the only thing that can make you smile, even for one second, that can make you want to live in hope that someday you might feel this smile for longer- that's the thing you should do for the rest of your life. #middleclasswhining #yqbaba Example: if your job makes you want to cry but you don't have the time because of the deadlines or whatever, and if a comment on your quote makes you smile, you should become a full time writer.
