The Pineapple Express, rushed through the platform. Chugging and puffing, like an old soul. Heaving the carriages full of exotics and citrus, and not just pineapples alone. The story behind the train, was never told in vain. As it had lessons to delve upon. It is said that the engine, was as old as the rail line laid. Some said it was the first, locomotive to emerge, and connect the South to North. Old Man and the Sea, the friendship went back. They had known each other, since eons and ages collapsed. The beasts that dwelt in one, calmed down the other, on days. Angry waves of one, had rocks to crash at bay. He'd lifted dead weights, poured sweat into the stream. To his children he told the same, to give reason for the water, salty. As he picked up his anchor, to sail further on his waves. The white tiger, elusive and obscure. Nestled in the leaves, it stared as I walked. The clearing was his, so was the voice. My vision obscured, in the mist of his choice. The swagger and stealth, all style intact, he trundled and loitered, to my meek self, steadfast. I wondered when I started, this journey to this end. I woke up next moment, sweaty, drenched and jaws clenched. A moment's silence and all it took to empower, I never searched within, hence never found the tiger. He was in me, and this was no evolution. Steadfast tin soldier, he knew what was in store. The thunders plundered his ears, the flashes revealed his soul. He had no army to fight, he had no captain to follow. 'Twas the breakneck draught, and bombs of droplets that followed. He had to hold his ground, unwavered, unbound, as the rain galloped past him, and the winds whistled in background. A rusting hand, was the enemy, and the reason for his sorrow. Age hath won this battle, years had him as a spoil. "Seahorse !" she said, stretching her arm, to the red horizon. All I could see was chaos, looking deep into the green blue commotion. Staring blankly, at the bustle, it finally struck. The waves weren't amuck ! The crests were the hustle, of manes unleashed, The turns were swishes, of swords unsheathed. Sinewy warriors, holding reins and shield. Marching to charge, at the call of Sun. "Seahorses, I see!" I said, and the games continued. Before sunset, some fleeting ticks and floating tocks, pass before they return. The winged warlocks, fly to their castle. Ramparts ignited, smothered with gold spears off the sky.
