Contracting infections is like a custom for me. Yearly once is for sure. More than once is also run-of-the-mill. Being a lanky figure, I'm used to pity stares and medical advices. Every time someone sends an owl with packets of kisses, I toss them into my hollow cheeks. Most of the time when someone glances at me, I feel poor for myself. I've been looked at, as mere sticks and twigs. As if I'm bereft of flesh. Little do they know, that my flesh is brimming with emotions-- buried in their oblivion. Let them go. They're mere passersby, whom I adore at times. Whereas, you're like one of those shingles I hunt for. Your stare is beyond description. It nears me like morning wave, then hits me inchmeal bereft of violences. Such solace! The rays from our eyes never pierced eachother, never entwined at any time like portrayed in epics-- instead, still searching. I'm high on fever clubbed with a strep throat. And of course, running nose which is always there, but I don't feel feeble for there's someone who eyes me like the most strong and worthy one-- at least a mirage.
