When Dad left for Kargil He had married just one month earlier. One day the door opened, and there he stood, 🚪 A mix of joy and relief in our neighborhood. 🎉 He scooped mom up, her tears soaking his chest, 😭 In his embrace, she found her rest. For all the fears, the waiting and pain, 😰 The love of a father is what I gained. Though war took him far, brought him near death’s door, ⚔️ He returned alive, with sena medal on his chest.
